Board of Directors and Officers - Agape Center Corporation
The Board of Directors of Agape Center Corporation provides oversight for four Agape Centers in Moneta, Vinton/Roanoke, Lynchburg, and the New River Valley, which operate under a single 501c3 nonprofit entity. Board members are committed to Agape’s mission and all are experienced in providing strategic leadership, expert advice and financial stewardship, in either business, church or non-profit environments.
The Board is responsible for establishing policies and setting strategic direction, approving major projects, and overseeing the financial reporting process, as well as ensuring the organization is compliant with relevant laws and regulations.
Each center has a Director, Co-director, Leadership Team and an Advisory Committee, and is responsible for its own fundraising and day-to-day operations.

Bill Galeota
President Board of Directors
Bill Galeota and Becky, his wife of nearly 50 years, are originally from Morgantown, WV, now permanently relocated to SML and members of Franklin Heights at its CrossPointe campus. He is a (nearly) retired attorney, with experience serving on a church board and representing non-profits, plus military and civilian trucking experience he applies to driving and maintaining the Agape trucks. He enjoys motorcycles, the lake and DIY home projects. He and Becky (who serves as a mentor and introduced Bill to Agape) have 3 sons and 4 grandchildren. They count Agape, their church and connect group among the many blessings God has provided. One of Bill's favorite bible verses is 1 Peter 3:15: "...in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect." Agape is an opportunity to share that hope in the lives of so many.

Becky Dooley
Vice President Board of Directors
Becky has lived in the Roanoke area since 1979. She is married to John Dooley and they have two children and two grandchildren. Becky loves being a grandma and spending time with her family – four wheeling, picking berries, planting and cultivating a pumpkin patch and attending her grandkids soccer games. Becky is a registered nurse who worked for Carilion Clinic for more than 41 years, ending her career as a Director in Training and Development. She and John attend Colonial Baptist Church in Blue Ridge where he served as Senior Pastor until his retirement in 2019. They have remained very active in the church through leading an Adult Bible Fellowship, serving on the Mission’s Committee and participating in numerous other ministries of the church. Becky heard from a fellow church member of the opportunities at Agape and she began to serve in the front office as one of the floor supervisors after her retirement in 2021. She sees her service at Agape as a great way to put her faith into action. Her favorite Bible verse is Philippians 4:13 “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me”

Dave Kountz
Board of Directors
Dave grew up in WV, and after graduating engineering college, met and married his amazing wife Debby in the suburbs of MD. During their 36 years of marriage, God has blessed them with 4 wonderful children and 4, soon to be 5, grand kids. They moved to Lynchburg in 1995 for Dave to help lead an engineering firm. God led them to Blue Ridge Community Church in 1996 where they have been blessed to be a part of, and actively serving in, ever since. In God’s wonderfully providential sense of humor, He called Dave to be the executive pastor at Blue Ridge for a decade and a half. And more recently to start his own leadership and consulting company. Dave’s heart is to see leaders and organizations live out their full potential and make a Kingdom impact. And when he is not involved with those endeavors, he likes to recharge with some type of activity involving adventure, exploring, and spending time with family. His involvement in Agape began with his wife Debby as she helped launch the Agape Lynchburg center and where she now has assumed the director’s role. He has served as a mentor and advisor and furniture hauler and general helper. He is incredibly proud to be part of the team, and the work that they have been doing, and is excited about the lives that they get to touch as Agape continues to grow.

Pastor Jamey hutton

Born and raised in Virginia, Pastor Jamey pursued his education and training as a licensed minister in Phoenix and his career has included a wide variety of roles including Christian education, youth pastor, worship leader, associate pastor and public school teacher. Jamey was ordained by the International Pentecostal Holiness Church in 2015, and has served as Pastor of the Victory Restoration Church in Christiansburg since 2016. One of Pastor Jamey’s favorite scripture verses is Proverbs 23:12, "Apply your heart to instruction and your ears to words of knowledge." Pastor Jamey serves on the Advisory Committee of the Agape Center NRV and believes strongly that being with people in their challenges is better than just doing for them.

Stephen Dunn
Executive Director
For Stephen, serving as the Executive Director at the Agape Center isn’t just about fulfilling a role—it’s about living out his purpose alongside Tracy, the love of his life. Together, they pour their hearts into bridging gaps, offering compassion, and instilling hope in people who are often overlooked. Stephen’s decades of experience as a bankruptcy attorney have given him a deep understanding of the hardships many face, and his work at the Agape Center allows him to make an even greater difference by addressing both physical and spiritual needs. He often reflects on how this journey with Tracy has not only changed the lives of clients but profoundly impacted his own faith and perspective. In addition to mentoring and advising, Stephen is always looking for new ways to strengthen the Agape Center’s mission. Whether brainstorming innovative strategies or collaborating with the community, he’s driven by a vision of breaking the cycle of generational poverty. His belief in the power of faith and service, combined with Tracy’s unwavering leadership, ensures the Agape Center remains a place where lives are not only transformed but renewed with lasting hope.

TRACY DUNN
Executive Director
As the Agape Center’s Executive Director, leading the corporation isn’t just a job to Tracy—it’s a calling. Her heart beats for the people she serves, and her faith in Christ is the foundation of everything she does. Having grown up in poverty herself, Tracy understands what it means to face overwhelming challenges, and she uses that experience to touch the lives of those who walk through the center’s doors. Her greatest joy is sharing the hope found in Jesus and helping others discover the purpose God has placed in their lives. Tracy’s journey with the Agape Center began in 2018, and it was immediately evident that her heart was fully invested in the mission. Whether mentoring individuals or coordinating programs across four centers, Tracy pours her soul into serving others with compassion. Alongside her husband Stephen, she leads the Getting Ahead Program, where students not only learn practical skills but also rediscover hope. Watching students light up with confidence and renewed faith fills her with gratitude and reinforces her belief in God’s transformative power. Tracy and Stephen’s 30-year marriage is a testament to the beauty of serving together. Their shared commitment to ministry reflects their love for each other and for the Lord. Stephen’s work as a local bankruptcy attorney complements Tracy’s Christ-centered leadership, creating a dynamic partnership fueled by service and faith. Together, they bring encouragement and support to individuals striving to build better lives. Driven by an unyielding sense of purpose, Tracy leads the Agape Center with a heart dedicated to transforming lives—not just for today, but for generations yet to come through programs that empower individuals to break free from the often-overwhelming cycle of poverty and ensuring that the Agape Center becomes far more than a refuge but a place of hope and where transformation truly begins.
